As the Australian federal and state governments withdraw funding from indigenous communities in Western Australia, many lives are in stuck in limbo.

The graphics I designed for this feature reflected the topical issue of the forced closure looming over Indigenous communities in Australia. I used various newspaper and ripped paper textures to house the images and type, creating an animated collage of "clip outs" that would lay over one another and reveal the information relevant to the piece.

Working with producer Rachael Thornton, I also incorporated various shots of the Kimberley within the graphics to maintain a sense of place as well as to profile to the people who were being introduced in the feature.
